3. How often does JMAI publish issues?
- The Journal of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence is a bi-annual publication, releasing two issues each year, in April and October. From April 15, 2025, the journal will transition to a continuous publication model, where accepted and finalized papers will be immediately published online as part of the next issue in progress.

4. Does JMAI charge any publication fees?
Currently, JMAI does not charge any publication fees. However, this policy may change in the future.
5. Is JMAI indexed in Scopus or Web of Science?
JMAI is working towards indexing in Scopus, Web of Science, and other reputable databases.

Submission & Review Process
8. How can I submit my manuscript to JMAI?
Authors must submit their manuscripts through the online submission portal on the journal’s official website. Manuscripts should be in PDF format, generated from either Microsoft Word or LaTeX. Email submissions are not accepted.
9. How long does the review process take?
- Initial decision: Approximately one week
- Double-blind peer review: Takes 4 to 5 weeks

JMAI follows a double-blind anonymous peer review policy, meaning that neither the authors nor the reviewers know each other’s identity. To ensure fairness, authors must submit two PDF files:
- One file containing manuscript with author details (names, affiliations, and email).
- One anonymized file containing only the manuscript, with no identifying information.
This anonymous review process ensures that submissions are evaluated solely on their quality, maintaining fairness and objectivity. Authors must follow this requirement to avoid delays in the review process.
12. What are the similarity index requirements for plagiarism?
JMAI follows a strict plagiarism policy:
- Total similarity index must be less than 25%
- Similarity from each individual source must be less than 5%

13. Can I change the authorship of my manuscript after submission?
No, authorship changes are not allowed after acceptance. This includes adding, removing, or reordering authors. All authors must be finalized before submission.

- Before acceptance: Authors may request withdrawal by submitting a formal request with a valid reason.
- During review: Withdrawal is discouraged but may be permitted with editorial approval.
- After acceptance: Withdrawal is not allowed, except for ethical concerns or exceptional cases, subject to the editor’s approval.
15. Can I submit my manuscript to multiple journals at the same time?
No, simultaneous submission to multiple journals is strictly prohibited.
16. Does JMAI accept AI-generated content?
If AI tools are used in manuscript preparation, authors must disclose their usage and ensure compliance with ethical and authorship standards.

Authors can submit their manuscripts in any format. Once accepted, JMAI’s production/layout team will handle all formatting to ensure the manuscript aligns with the journal’s style before publication.
